Radio 2000's epic new line-up

Robert Marawa who was fired at Metro FM last year will now reign Radio 2000's weekdays sport show from 5-7pm. This radio star was released by Metro FM because he never pitched to his show in support of his show producer that was suspended for compiling another channel sound bit.

Twitter was buzzing after the news were confirmed. Marawa will take over from Andile Ncube who seemed unhappy about the news. Ncube will become sport newsreader for the station.

Metro FM approached Thomas Mlambo to take over from Udo and Mpho's shows that were not attracting needed listeners. Some believed that karma was about to hit Metro FM and the management led by Sbongile who is the station manager deserved what was onto their way.

Glen Lewis on his twitter page came gunning to Tbo touch after he was fired at Touch central. Lewis called Touch a coward that was scared to man up.Lewis joined Touch central last year after his resignation at Metro FM. This radio jock could not accept that Unathi Msengana was going to leave their show and join Khanyi Mbau's second segment breakfast show that was struggling to attract listeners.

SABC radio stations will be announcing their new lineups this upcoming week said it's spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago.

SASSA failing again

South African Social Services Agency(SASSA) has once again fail to meet their end of the bargain.Gauteng High Court ruled that contract between SASSA and Cash Paymentmaster Services to distribute grants was illegal in 2014.

Three years down the line SASSA is still having the contract with CPS.Bathabile Dlamini even left the Social development office without a change.Seventeen million SASSA grant earners might face possibility of not receiving their grants.

SASSA went to court to ask for six months additional duration with CPS.SAPO was suppose to take over next month but admitted they lack resources and proper systems in place.

Inxeba the Wound no longer categorised as a Porn movie

Producers of Inxeba movie took Film and Publications board to court. This is after the board categorised the movie as a porn movie and age restriction was 18s.

The Inxeba movie team obtained desired results from their side. The Court's verdict ruled that the movie be removed as porn movie and age restriction be only 18.

One of the movie's producer Mr Bhengu said they were glad that people would finally view their work. The movie will be seen from public cinemas all over S.A.

Inxeba seems to get numerous nominations from SAFTAs and Oscars. House of traditional leaders were ganing for the movie to be totally banned from any communication platforms.

Long Memory Lane

Some of us knew television in the early 2000."Sgudz Snaysi" zulu popular sit com released in late 90's.The theme song when it starts or end made me do Jackson's moves.

How does one not know a crazy and skimming character of Sdumo that the late Joe Mafela played. Laqasha(loan shack) was a character that troubled Sdumo to pay or leg be broken. I remember having a broken leg because of my friend. Mommy screaming telling us those characters are not really. Guys if you had not portrayed a character standing before mirror you missed your childhood.

This sit com was the first black African show to attract millions of viewership back in the days.

Woman Crush Wednesday

Criselda Dudumashe is our week's Woman Crush Wednesday. She is a lady that has walked all aspects of life. Griselda is a radio and television personality, motivation speaker, author and HIV and Aids activist.

This lady started her journey of being a radio jock and Queen of talk at Kaya FM.Criselda's talent of broadcasting revealed itself and Metro FM hired this radio giant. She started in 2008 as health and lifestyle presenter. The lady soon grew to host Metro FM talk show Wednesdays and Thursdays. SAfm listeners were blessed to hear this lady's voice as talkshop host. The lady was employed by information and news leader station(SAfm) late January this year.

Criselda is one of few celebrities to disclose her HIV status and living positively with the disease. She is also an activist and counselor for people living with HIV.

Criselda is an author of her book that reveals her personal struggle. Criselda is a wife and mother of two.

This lady has the x-factor and she continues to stay humble.

Cabinet reshuffle, ANC over the Nation.

Cyril Ramaphosa has announced his interim cabinet late Monday. What came as a surprise is that Fikile Mbalula axed from  being police minister.Mbalula commented,"ANC need me at Luthuli house".Political analyst believe that there is more to the story. Some complained claiming Mbalula was doing a good work in the sport department and transformation was some how a possible because of him.

Ramaphosa was accused of choosing ANC over nation interests. He employed Nomvula Mokonyane as communication minister.Nomvula faced many critics after her comments," Rand can fall down surely we will pick it up".Uwfm talk show(Umxholo) listeners unanimously believed Nomvula was a bad decision.

Some believed that Melusi Gigaba must account for giving Guptas citizenship. Others wanted Bathabile to be axed as she failed do her speech before the commission that was investigating SASSA illegal tender. Bheki Cele once again appointed as police minister.
