South African Social Services Agency(SASSA) has once again fail to meet their end of the bargain.Gauteng High Court ruled that contract between SASSA and Cash Paymentmaster Services to distribute grants was illegal in 2014.
Three years down the line SASSA is still having the contract with CPS.Bathabile Dlamini even left the Social development office without a change.Seventeen million SASSA grant earners might face possibility of not receiving their grants.
SASSA went to court to ask for six months additional duration with CPS.SAPO was suppose to take over next month but admitted they lack resources and proper systems in place.
Do you think the court will rule in favour of SASSA? Drop a comment on Talk African Continent and I am Nkosi Coolkid Ganekana.

sassa is very much irresponsible, can you imagine what suffering will the seventeen million people will get, just because of the irresponsibility of this one ageny
ReplyDeleteDefinitely it should so many people benefit from Sassa imagine what would happen if it could lose the contract...people are starving out there and rely on Sassa to support them.
ReplyDeleteWhy are they ending contract with SASSA I think our grandmothers enjoy paying from SASSA because they believe that they won't get all their money if they use banks because of bank charges, we know our parents love money.
ReplyDeleteGuys maybe the tendering process was corrupt and fraudulent.

ReplyDeleteCorrupt tendering process I suspect.
ReplyDeleteCorrupt tendering process I suspect.
ReplyDeleteNow SASSA was selfish because many people will suffer in poverty once their grants are stopped.
ReplyDeleteThey should put people who are responsible to deal with finances because we can not afford losing such money.
ReplyDeleteI can't say much but Zuma elected people like him, which are irresponsible.
ReplyDeleteSASSA is just a disaster waiting to explode .
